Baked Spicy Tomatoes
- 1 kg cocktail tomatoes
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 6 cloves of garlic (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil (coarsely chopped)
Wash and drain the cocktail tomatoes and dry each one with a paper towel. Cut the tomatoes in half and transfer them to a large bowl.
Add olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, granulated sugar, salt, black pepper and thyme and gently mix well.
Arrange the tomatoes in a single row on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake slowly in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
