Vegan Chickpea Meatballs




  • 1 cup chickpeas (soaked overnight)
  • 2-3 handfuls of parsley or any fresh herb
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 tablespoon chickpea flour or any flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 teaspoon cumin and any seasonings of your choice

Thoroughly mash all the ingredients in the food processor until you get a soft, paste-like dough.
Freeze for 30 minutes for easy shaping. When the dough is firm, make tiny circles about 2 cm in diameter.
Bake in a preheated 190-200 degree oven, greased with olive oil on all sides, and bake for 25-30 minutes on a baking paper lined tray. You can fry it if you wish.
