Fried Celery


  • 2 celery
  • 1 egg
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Half a glass of breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
to fry
  • sunflower oil
For sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • Salt

 Peel the celery and slice it into rounds. Boil it in boiling lemon water for 7-8 minutes. Take it out of the water and dry it. Beat the egg in the bowl. Mix breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper and grated parmesan cheese in a bowl.

Dip the celery slices first in the egg, then in the breadcrumb mixture and fry in hot oil. Drain excess oil by placing it on a paper towel.

Mix mustard, mayonnaise, yogurt, capers and salt and serve with fried celery.
