Artichokes with Vegetables & Olive Oil


  • 5 artichokes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 cup of peas
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • 1 glass of water
  • Half a teaspoon of olive oil
  • Salt


First, dice the onions and carrots and add olive oil to a pan.

Saute the chopped onions and carrots in olive oil until they turn pink.

Add granulated sugar to the pink onions. Meanwhile, cut the potatoes and artichokes into cubes.

Add the diced potatoes and artichokes to the sauté.

Then add the peas and water to the sauté. After adjusting the salt, cook for half an hour until the artichokes are soft.

Take the cooked artichokes on a serving plate. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over it.
