Baked Chicken with Pesto & 4 Ingredients
- Tomatoes (2 Pieces)
- Mozzarella Cheese (6 Slices)
- Chicken breast (3 pieces)
- Pesto Sauce (6 Desserts spoons)
We preheat the oven to 180°C. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
While the oven is preheating, you can heat some olive oil or butter in a pan. While hot, add the chicken breast and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side until caramelized. The chicken should still be raw in the center.
We place the chicken breasts (dried or raw) on a baking sheet or rimmed baking sheet.
We use a spoon to coat the chicken with pesto.
We stuff each chicken breast with 1 slice of mozzarella cheese and 2 slices of tomato.
Bake for 20-30 minutes (time depends on the thickness of the chicken and whether it is browned) or until the center of the chicken turns pink. You can fry the chicken for the last 2 minutes so that the cheese is bubbly and golden. We serve immediately.
